This is Cricket. She is my favorite goat in the herd. She is six months old. She was born on January fifth. Cricket is a Nigerian Dwarf Goat, and she is loud and sassy.
The little doeling on the far left on the third picture is Cricket. In the second picture she is the darker one. She is six months old. Cricket has a brother named Tucker. She was born in the United States, two minutes after Tucker on January fifth. She is a Nigerian dwarf goat, and my very favorite doeling in the herd. Cricket, as I mentioned, is loud and sassy. Her mother abandoned her on January sixth, and only wanted to take care of Tucker. I put her in with a foster mom and she took care of her.
I really wanted Cricket to be raised by her mother, so I put her with Mamma one more time. I put some of her mother's milk on Cricket to get mom's scent on her. Mamma took her back! I was so glad (and I'm sure Cricket was too, lol). She deserves to be honored!
