Sunny is important to me not only because he is family, but because of when I got him. My family and I had been looking for a classical pet to teach us responsibility. We found a small bird shop and that is when I saw him: A bright, beautiful parrot singing away.
I don't know what it was that initially drew me towards him; Perhaps it was his feathers. Perhaps it was his screechy voice. Whatever it was, Sunny had the personality of my family, and thus he entered the world of the Murphys. And he has been keeping things cheerful and lively ever since!
