We found my bird in the street one day, as he probably saved of himself from a breeding facility or something. Budgerigars are NOT native to France, but Australia!
Since that day, we became his new family. I choose the name "Toad" because in French it is "crapaud" and it sounds funny. He was not tame when we first found him, but now he can go on our finger and we can pet him.
Toad is special for me because it's been so long I wanted a bird ... and so he is a gift from from heaven. Plus, he is a beautiful budgie .
