Hi! This is Hertha the African Pygmy Hedgehog, who is about six years old. Hertha came to us quite a few years back when her previous owners had left her with very little food and water and no attention at all. We were overjoyed to take her in and had her fattened up in no time at all.
Hertha is quite the character who likes to "swim" in the tub and cruise around the house in her plastic ball, which makes visitors smile to see. And, we think she has the cutest face ... wouldn't you agree? Hertha wants to remind everyone to do some research before getting a pet, hedgehogs needs love and attention just as much as any other small animal! We love Hertha very much.
