Madeleine is my best friend. We rescued her when she was abandoned as a baby. Now she is all grown up and has had four babies of her own. She Lives in the wild but visits us every day. She sleeps on the front porch in a doggy bed, with her daughter Uni, and in winter she sleeps in her barn. She even likes to come inside the house. She jumps up on her hind legs and clonks her front hooves on the door when she wants in. We let her in and she eats goodies and sometimes lays in the guest bed and watches movies with us (she likes the National Geographic channel and Disney's cartoons of "The Lion Guard." She is also an artist and can paint with markers. I hold the canvas and lay all the marker colors on the floor and she picks up the color she wants in her mouth and scribbles on the canvas. There is a picture above of her and all her art, I dipped her hoof in paint and let her print it on one of the pictures. She likes Gummy Bears, donuts, grapes, bananas, apples, corn and whole wheat bread (and sometimes my action figures).
She has a bad craving to chew holes in the garden hose, and also chews on empty pop bottles. She likes to fight the garden hose, along with empty grain bags. She likes to dance when you play music, and jumps up on her hind legs and spins around in a circle. In the summer she likes to play in the sprinkler, and jump in the duck pond. Her farm friends are ducks, chickens goats, two dogs and a pony. She likes the goats and hangs out with them often. In the fall she likes to dress up for Halloween and go trick or treating through the back yard with us, and usually eats a bag of candy before we can find it all (don't worry we unwrap them so she only eats the candy. On Christmas she gets pumpkin pie, and we make snow men which Madeleine always fights and always wins. She's an awesome pet!
