Hi, my name is Hannah and I love my hamster! I got Skeezix when he was only three weeks old and my family and I played with him for many hours every day so he has learned to love people. He has never bitten anyone and he is sweet as can be. He is so cute when he grooms himself. He is the center of attention when he is in his hamster ball and goes crazy rolling around the house!
My sister came home talking about the movie "Eight Below" that showed sled dogs pulling a sled. I thought maybe Skeezix would like to learn to pull a sled too! I looked in my doll box of "Polly Pockets" and found just the right thing, a sled that was Skeezix-sized! I rigged up a soft harness and in no time he was pulling some "Littlest Pet Shop" hamster buddies around the room! Skeezix is a good dancer too! We dance to the music of Aaron Copland and sometimes I just sing a tune while we dance!
Skeezix has a gentle, calm side and then he will get excited all of a sudden! His favorite foods are sunflower seeds, peanuts and broccoli.
