I had a friend that was helping me find a ferret to adopt, when one day in her garden, Cooper popped out and sat next to her. She called me and I told her that I was looking to adopt a ferret, but asked we her neighbors if anyone lost a ferret. After weeks, no one showed up, and that's when I came down to see them. When I arrived, I saw him balled up on a pillow, and then he woke to see me; as I picked him up he licked my lips, as if he was glad to see me.
My fiancée helped me with getting his cage, while another friend who used to own ferrets was glad to donate years of litter, toys, and treats. He has his energetic side, where he loves to run in his tubes that lead to his ballpit. I run around with cat toys that he tries to grab, and like any ferret...he steals my headphones, bras and glasses. He is also a very chilled and relaxed most of the time too, especially when it's time to clip his nails; it turns into a spa for him; getting the clippers and the nail filler...he goes to sleep. Cooper is the joy of my life and I will always love him.
