This is Bella, the lesser Sulfur-crested cockatoo. Bella is a male, is nine years old and quite the talker. He lives in Iowa with two cats, a dog, Russian Tortoise and used to have a rat friend, as well as we humans of course.
Bella is an attention sponge. He loves my daughter and hangs out with her a lot. Jan has health issues and he is always making us laugh. He has a variety of giggles ranging from a girly laugh to the laugh of a deranged madman. We think that one is off video games. Bella enjoys feeding my dog too. He will call her and say, "here you go buddy," and drop a treat. Needless to say, the dog loves him for this!
He's a fun bird, and we all love him! He is quite a character!
