This is my paint gelding Hotty. Hotty will be seventeen years old in April. He loves long walks with the kids. He has a friend, Dodger, who is three years older, and they love to play together and hang out in the fields. He loves playing with us humans, too, and loves his oats. In the fall, he loves apples as a treat - we sometimes get "drops" from a nearby orchard. He and Dodger do not care if the apple is bruised or "ugly" - it's tasty!
This is a photo from May, you can see he was still shedding his fluffy winter coat, which he needs for our Michigan winters! And I like it because you can see his almost heart-shaped marking on his neck. He is a fun pony and a good boy, and I love him.
