Beardy is a very unique animal, not just because of her vibrant colors or scaly skin; her personality is what makes me believe she is special. She has always been extremely cuddly and curious of the world around her. She likes to climb upon my shoulder and tuck her head into my neck. She also likes to watch me do certain things. I've noticed when I sit down at the table to eat, she watches me from her cage.
Beardy gets along with my cat and dog, and sometimes she even lays with them. She is also very fond of car rides! She likes to crawl around the yard and bask in the sun. Beardy enjoys grapes and mealworms mostly.
When I first got her, I thought she was a boy. I've had her since I was 12. When I turned 19, shortly after, she began to lay eggs, and I discovered she was a girl. I thought it was interesting how that could happen. I love my bearded dragon very much and recommend them as a pet for all ages. Bearded dragons are very cool and all have different personalities.
