My bunny, Oliver, is a special pet. He is an American Chinchilla Chestnut Agouti Rabbit He wakes me up in the morning by jingling his toys and jumping onto my bed. When I rub his head and cheeks, he purrs just like a kitten and when I stop, he nudges my hand. When he's tired, he does the most adorable bunny flop and when he wakes up he does the sweetest yawn. I absolutely love his beautiful ears, soft fur, and gentle eyes.
When he was a baby, he was dumped in the woods and kind people from a nearby hospital came and rescued him. He wasn't afraid, he stood on his hind feet as if telling them he wanted love and treats. A few weeks before, I lost my dog, Lucy, I went through grief and it was the worst pain I've ever felt. I saw Oliver and he resembled my Lucy, apart from being a bunny of course. I knew it was meant to be! When I adopted him, I made him a promise that I would love him and take care of him forever, he's my best friend.
