This boy is called a brindle. They usually change color as they age. In his baby picture he is orange, but as he ages he got darker. He is a very sweet boy I bred. I cannot rescue as there is no rescue near me that takes rodents. So it is petstore, or breed. I kept all his sisters and one brother and the others went to good homes. He is quite tolerant of kisses, and is overall a very sweet boy. He was born June 10th of this year. He loves just about anything I feed him, pumpkin seeds, bird seed, sunflower seeds, peanuts, flax seeds. Really any kind of seed.
He usually comes running when he knows I am there, wanting treats. His normal food is extrusion blocks, a combination of grains, corn, and other good stuff. He is especially fond of oats when I decide to feed him those. I don't feed those too often though as mum uses those to bake. He also likes dog cookies that I sometimes buy. He will put up with kisses but prefers to run free when I let him out of cage. He can be a twerp but I love him to pieces. He is a tad chubby now, but that is due to genes rather than overeating. He is very active, and loves to climb his ladder. Overall, he has lots of personality and love to give.
