This is Bruno Sweep. We call him this as he sounds like Sweep from "Sooty and Sweep." He is always beeping and never quiet. Bruno lives with his mate Google who is the boss, he keeps Bruno in line. His piggie mother was a Himalayan, but I do not know what his father was.
Bruno was a gift for my daughter but I do all the caring and cleaning, I kinda knew it would turn out this way,so was prepared. I have only owned one other Guinea pig and that was a long time ago, a little rescued piggy who was being used as a ball. Some horrible humans were throwing him to each other. I thought he was going to die from shock at first, but after a few days he knew he was safe and we fell in love!
Bruno's favorite foods are raspberry leaves throughout summer and dandelion leaves. He hates parsley, though I know some guinea pigs love it!! He is not very affectionate, unlike his pal Google. Bruno is very independent and dislikes too much stroking ... and he lets you know either verbally or with a head butt to the hand. Bruno is special to me as all pets that come into my home, he is now one of the family. My piggies live indoors.
My favorite features are his brown nose, ears, and feet which he didn't have when he was younger. Like a Siamese cat, his "points" darkened in as he grew up!
