Ninja (a.k.a. Fatty) was taken in as a terrible biter as a baby. We knew this, and knew we had to be both careful and persistent with his training. Being a mix with European Polecat means he's just somewhat huskier than a normal ferret. We showed him nothing but love and gave him endless snuggles, and that did the trick. He has turned into a chubby lap ferret than can't get enough love.
Ninja is also very clever, and those little ferret "hands" are very nimble. He figures things out almost too fast! Because of him, we have had to wire the fridge shut! Otherwise he knows how to pry it open to steal fruit, and didn't always bother to shut it afterwards! But he is worth the trouble, and we love him very much. Just look at that face!
