I've wanted goats for the longest time, so I moved to an area where I can get them, which was roughly three and a half years ago. I started out with three, then I got Periwinkle. She is a pygmy goat, with her pretty silvery coat, but looks are not what make her special.
Within the time I've had goats, none had been more of a pet than Periwinkle is. She is the only goat of mine that will come when called. She is very affectionate and loves being petted and scratched behind her ears. She doesn't mind being milked; in fact I've made a lot of good cheese from her milk. I will always consider Periwinkle a loyal friend.
