Ducky is my lutino cockatiel. He is about a year and a half old now. When I got him, he was the bird that chose me. He always climbed over to the side of the cage to greet me while he was in the pet store, and one day I just decided I had to take him home.
Ducky is eager to please me and loves doing tricks. He knows wave, wings, turn around, recall, fetch, basketball, ring toss, go through hoop and birdie bowling. Ducky is very affectionate and bows his head to get head scratches. It's a 'tiel thing. He is very needy, and wants to be with me constantly. Place him on a perch, and he'll be flying back to you before you even sit down. When he's on you, he just likes to sit quietly and preen. Who could resist?
He hates being put away in his cage, and flies away when it's bedtime. One of his favorite things to do is fly. He loves to fly laps around the room just for the fun of it. He even goes flying around the house searching for me! I love him!
