This is Earl. He is a beautiful, six-year-old horse and I love him very much. Earl is in a stable in Erbach. Every Friday and Saturday I go to vaulting and see him. When I arrive at the stable, he welcomes me happily and hopes to get some treats. Together with my friends I clean and brush him. After that Earl has to go into the horse trailer because we have to drive to the riding hall. Then we start vaulting and do a lot of gymnastic exercises on the horse.
His breed is called Zweibrücker, named after the city Zweibrücken in Rheinland-Pfalz. Earl has a brown coat and a black mane. On his forehead he has a white spot which is called "Stern" (star). He has a height of 180 cm (about 18 hands).
Earl is a very good vaulting horse because he is strong and gallops very well. And he is nice to kids, too. If we go to a competition he is always very excited. Below is a picture of Earl and my vaulting group.
