Wolke (the blue and white one) and Polly (the green) are both five years old, and they are Budgies. Their kind is originally from Australia, and the proper name of their kind is Budgerigar (budgies is just the nickname) but they were born here in Germany, and live with me in Hamburg.
I think their colors are beautiful, and they are sweet birds. They both will do "step up" when I hold my finger out to them, and sometimes will climb up to my shoulder if I am wearing sleeves they can get a good grip on. They are sometimes quiet and sometimes they are noisy, especially when they know I am going to feed them. They are best friends with each other, and always like to be together. They are my favorite animals and my best pets.
