This little guy's name is Frederick. He will be two years old in January. He's a Syrian hamster and I've never loved something so much.
Originally, my mom took me to the pet store to get a pug, but once we saw how expensive they were, she changed her mind. That's where Frederick came in. Of course I was disappointed about not getting a puppy, but little did I know this little hamster would make a huge impact on me.
I don't like children, but I treat Frederick as one of my own. His favorite snack is reduced fat Wheat Thins and it's the most adorable thing in the world when he has the hiccups. I know it sounds silly, but even though his name is bigger than he is, I don't think I've ever been happier.
