Pepper is one of my first rats and she is definitely my heart rat. She is one of the sweetest rats I've ever met and am thankful I found her two years ago. I always thought I liked the rats with interested markings or different color patterns but whenever I first saw Pepper it was an instant bond and I knew I had to have her.
Pepper is super friendly and loving and is actually a lot like a dog in her behavior. She runs around on the floor and comes back to me when it's time to return to her cage. I can take her out to pet stores or for walks outside and she just sits on my shoulder and hangs out. She is even friendly with my yellow Lab. Rats make wonderful pets!
