Cooper is our yellow cinnamon pearl cockatiel. She came from a breeder who provided a very loving home for her until she was ready to come home with us. At first she was very vocal and would sing and whistle. This lead us to believe she was a boy, but the DNA test proved otherwise! It didn't matter to us at all. And we didn;t even need to change her name!
Cooper is a very friendly bird, but mainly is interested in her momma, me. She tolerates her daddy, but momma is number one in Cooper's book. She likes to stand on her head on her perch and be silly while she flirts with her brother Sonny (not her real brother) who is in the cage next door. She loves spending time out of her cage, but when it's bedtime she cuddles with her mirror and sleeps on the tray in front of it. She is certainly the center of my world and I wouldn't trade her for anything.
