This is Schotzy eating his tomato from our garden. He is a Goffin's Cockatoo and loves to play and snuggle. His best phrase is "time to go to bed" which he says every night. He loves to be in whichever room I'm in and will follow me around the house calling, "Ma Ma." He has five other bird buddies in our house an African Grey, two Quaker Parrots and two cockatiels. He also torments our 110-pound Lab mix, Brutus. We live in Oklahoma City and really are an Animal House! Schotzy loves to play with his abacus, and gets to go outside sometimes, but only under very careful supervision.
Here are some pictures of Schotzy during his day. He loves to try get my coffee, and basically be involved in everything I do. He's up at 6:30 every morning and in bed by 10 at night!! He tolerates his five bird buddies and loves to torment the dog, but his favorite thing is to be attached to his Mama, me. He has perches in every room and follows me throughout the day.
