I had trouble naming this sweetheart, I ended up having a family vote as many names came up for him. He is one of the sweetest petstore mice I ever bought, he lets you stroke and touch him, and pick him up from incage. He is also licky when he sees my face, he loves giving kisses on the lips. The people were very happy I took him. He is a satin piebald. Some people call them cow mice. He is very fuzzy which leads me to think he might have a special coat type, possibly chinchilla but unsure. He lost his ear before I bought him. I suspect he got in a fight as he is mouse aggressive and cannot have a cagemate.
At first when he came home he would accept no treats, instead preferring to eat his block food. But I have gotten him liking bird seed and pumpkin seed, though he still won't eat peanuts. Picky little aristocrat he is. He was from a petstore where they only sell mice as pets. Rescue is not an option for me, we have no shelters that take rodents. He was older when I got him, so unsure what his true age is. Even when out of cage, he tends to spend much of his free time grooming. One must keep a beautiful coat like his shiny and silky. Everyone who has met him loves him.
