She's one of the reasons why I love reptiles. She loves climbing around and staring at me until I let her out or feed her. She loves being handled and sometimes sleeps on my chest and shoulders. She'll always watch me draw, play games and watch YouTube videos. I have never had such an amazing pet like her.
Kira wasn't my first skink, I used to have a wild-caught garden skink but he wasn't as lively. I didn't really decide on Kira, my mum took me out to the breeder's house as a surprise, and he had a tub with dozens of babies in it. I picked Kira because she was closest to me and not bunched up with her siblings. Her personality is amazing, sometimes a bit evil, I once saw her trying to drown a cricket, and she usually teases my cat. On the good side she's always curious with what I do and constantly stares at me and give me subtle signs that she wants something. She has never been aggressive but she did hiss at me once because she knew I was going to give her a bath.
"Kira" wasn't her first name, since I only just found out she's a girl. She eats almost everything, currently I offer her dog food mixed with cos lettuce, blueberries and crushed egg shells, she'll eat other stuff like baby food, apples, banana, steamed carrots, peas, corn, cat food, scrambled eggs, chicken, crickets, super worms, snails and cockroaches. She's affectionate most of the time, she'll cuddle up under my sleeves or jacket, sometimes kisses me on the nose or chin and she loves being pet and rubbed on the snout.
