After my first bearded dragon, Basil, died from a weird disease I was very sad, but wanted another one! So I named it Ganta but he did not live very long, I tried one more time.
So I got Blaze! He was a couple months old and apparently had not been handled much! I got him from the same pet shop I got Basil and Ganta from! When I was picking out which one I wanted, he was very angry and would not stop biting me! But he was so healthy and more brightly colored than the other that I just had to have him! Because of what happened to my last one, the pet store greatly reduced the price for me!
On the way home, he was squirming and fussing in the snake bag they put him in! Although he was happy in Basil's old and very large tank, he did not like to be petted and would hiss and bite me! After a few days he calmed down and would only puff at me! After several weeks he stopped being angry when I touched him, and even went to sleep on my shoulder! Now he is very tame and cuddles with me! I'm very happy I decided to get him, he's a great little friend!
