Rukia is my first ever gecko, I saw her in pet shop and was like, "O my God! It's like little dragon!" So I read some info and opinions on these geckos and decided that I could handle having one. That's how she ended in my house as my favorite pet! Her kind is native to Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, India and Pakistan, but she lives with me in Warszaw.
Her name Rukia was given by my girlfriend and means "Light" in Japanese. She doesn't know any tricks and games, but she loves to climb on my arm and sit on my shoulder. She also loves to pose for photos, when she sees camera she takes some pose and waits for the shutter sound and then changes pose and waits again! :) She eats crickets mixed with vitamins. She is pretty easy to take care of, only things I have to look at are the temperature, humidity and cleaning her terrarium. Feeding her and keeping her water pool filled is very easy. I love her!
