My pet is a budgie, its name is Sky. The little budgie bird is one of the most popular pets in the world. This cute bird is small and inexpensive. It is seven inches big. Sky is a very colorful budgie, its feathers are like a rainbow. It looks very beautiful and it is lovely to look at. My budgie eats grains, fruits and seeds. But its favorite food is millet. I feed him every afternoon from my hand. It's a treat for him.
Sky has a large cage with a lot of toys. You should not keep budgies alone, that why Sky has a friend. Its name is Sunny, another budgie. It's my brother's pet. Sky can fly very fast and makes a lot of noise. He is an intelligent bird and can also learn to talk. If he hears the same words again and again, he can repeat them too. I try to teach Sky many words like "Sky is beautiful," "Sky is sweet." My mother trains the small budgie to do wonderful things, for example balancing on a tennis ball and to bring her a coin. The budgie is originally found in the warm countries. It does not like to live in cold places. It generally lives in the nature in the hollows of trees in Australia. So here, he lives in the warm house, with us. He is a pet.
