Dash, although six years old, only came to us two months ago we traveled 140 miles to pick him up after seeing his story on a re-homing website. He recently lost his soul mate Smudge after six years together. Unfortunately his first two years were not happy at all, his previous owners had his teeth removed for no reason other than because he bit them!! He was taken into a loving foster home where he spent a total of four years. He and Smudge were always passed by because of their color and age and not so long ago Smudge passed away and Dash was left a widower! After a plea on a website for a new home, we went and picked up our little boy!!!
We hoped he'd get on with our other three bunnies but that's taking time, he has however found a true companion in Arthur, our four-month-old guinea pig! The two are now inseparable (although I think Dash gets tired of Arthur's moaning!!!) Dash spends most of his day asleep and munching on his mashed up food, enjoying a life of happiness and leisure as he's always deserved. He truly is a special boy he's over come so much but is still a loving, gentle, wonderful, soul!!!
