Bandit here, wishing everyone around the world a very Happy Holiday season, from my new home.
Mom decided to get herself a Christmas present. The best present for her is a pet. She went to the local Pet Depot. They had so many wonderful animals to choose from. She wanted a hamster. All of the cages were full, but the sales associate said there was a hamster in the back. She was by herself because she didn't get along with others. That was ME! Mom saw my adorable face and the rest is history.
I live in an aquarium (with a screen) because I like to kick my bedding around. That way it doesn't get all over the living room floor. As you can see, there is plenty to eat, fresh water, a hut to sleep in and things to run through and chew up, and especially my wheel.
Since I am nocturnal, I sleep a good part of the day and come out at night. Mom hears me running in my wheel. That makes her happy because I'm having fun, but I don't think Bear, her dog, likes it as much. He sleeps in the living room.
All in all, this should be a good Christmas for me. I just wish everyone else was as lucky.
