Bluebell is my first bird, and she is about three years old. I've always loved birds and wanted to get a bird of my own. She is the bird that started it all - and now I have three! Unlike the other two that came after her, she does not know any tricks and is quite independent. She does not like to be petted or touched, and usually just flies off to do her own thing.
It is not that she shuns me entirely, she just prefers to be the one to initiate contact. When I'm sitting and reading a book, she likes to come visit me. She usually sits on my knee while I read or surf the web. She is curious and likes to be involved in projects. She likes to spend time in her cage though, and often chooses to do so, even when her cage door is open. I love my Bluebell!
