My name is Alise and Arche and I live in Philadelphia. He is a Peruvian guinea pig with amazing “hair” - I do not curl it, it just naturally grows that way! It has an interesting texture, as you can see, it almost sparkles when the light hits it!
Don't let this calm picture fool you - he is pretty athletic! He stands on his hind legs if you dangle lettuce leaves at his nose. He is an active boy and pretty well behaved, so I let him out to run around and get some exercise. He'll snatch a piece of apple and run with it. ... and with his long hair (especially in winter) he looks like a running, curly wig! It's too funny. I just love him!
