I wanted a guinea pig for years, so badly. My sister has three. One day we were at the pet store, and I saw Merlin. A tiny, fluffy thing. I pointed out how cute he was and my sister said "You could just hold him." So of course I did. As soon as I held him he whistled excitedly and I fell madly in love.
This pig makes me so happy. He is so curious and fun. He loves to run around under the table and explore new places (like the kitchen despite the slippery floor). He's very comfortable and is always friendly and curious about new people. While he's sleepy he likes to cuddle, and often lets one leg casually hang down.
His best friend is our corgi, Gryffin (Gryffin is still unsure, he's a little scared of guinea pigs). He loves following Gryffin around. I think he secretly wishes he was a dog. Sometimes he gets to hang out with my sister's guinea pigs too.
In his down time he likes to nap in his bed, chew on toilet paper tubes, and check the hiding places in his cage for carrots (my dad likes to hide a scavenger hunt of snacks for him). He's fluffy and friendly and just so great to be around. His favorite spot is his bed in the corner of the cage where he can keep an eye on the comings and goings of everyone. He loves my dad and will run over to him when he hears his voice. Also, he loves when everyone is laughing and will wheek! I love him.
