Lizzy is special because she looks like she smiles when we feed her. She is my second Leopard Gecko. My ex took my first one when we decided to go our separate ways almost 18 years ago. I decided to get Lizzy shortly after my wife and I moved into our first home. We were at the pet store and they had a few baby Geckos and she was just so cute and tiny and had so much more color than the others. She is kind of a loner. Sometimes she lets me hold her but not very often. I guess I'd say she's very independent. My chihuahua always wants to eat her, so I don't get her out and handle her as much as I used to, for her own safety!
Lizzy is a terrible hunter, so instead of feeding her crickets, we feed her super worms. They're nowhere near as fast or agile which makes for an easy meal for her. Unfortunately, she still misses sometimes and has to slowly chase them down. When she hears the lid come off of the super worm container, she gets really excited and comes running out of her rock house and looks upward in anticipation for the worms to start falling from the sky. Eating is her favorite activity!
