Finn is the first goat my husband had the privilege to bring into this world. When we first saw his little pink nose, his strong athletic build, and his striking bold colors we knew we had something special. We kept him one season as a breeding buck and got three lovely kids from him. Then we wethered him so we could train him as a packgoat. Finn loves to go hiking with us and is great at carrying our gear on trips. This summer we trained him to pull a wagon alongside his friend Sputnik. Finn also loves to perform tricks! His favorite is "shake hands."
The mountaintop photo was taken this past September on Uncompahgre Peak, elevation 14,308, near Lake City, CO. It was Finn's first 14'er. The desert photo was taken last year in Goblin Valley, UT where we stopped on our way to a hiking trip in Escalante. Since he's only two, he hasn't climbed many mountains yet, but I'm sure there will be lots in the years to come!
