This is my daughter and her turkey, Snowy. My daughter thought his neck was cold and insisted on putting a sock on him as a neck warmer. Everyone tells us they can't believe how tame, dog-like and lovable he is. He will come when she calls him, and he will follow her everywhere.
We are not sure what breed he is, as we rescued him from a bad situation when he was a couple months old. But he has thrived here, as you can see. He gets along great with the chickens and the goats, he just loves everybody! He is not Thanksgiving Dinner, and he never will be.
Our whole crew would invite you to hug a friend, (turkey friend if available), and have yourself a Happy Thanksgiving!
