Poppy is a sweet, lovable clown. We are her third home, she was rehomed twice for chronic screaming but she's found a forever family with us. She's replaced screaming with playing, dancing, singing, and snuggling.
Poppy is our first cockatoo. My son has a mobile grooming service, Poppy belonged to one of his clients, I had experience with parrots so Poppy came to live with me. We've had her for three years. She was very depressed and confused by the move but she's a sweet, friendly bird. It took her a few months for her to fully adjust. I made her a fleece swing as a comfort toy, she's slept in several versions every night for three years.
Poppy's favorite food is birdie bread with peanut butter, her favorite toys are her Fischer-Price piano and guitar and her hat collection. She will play fetch with me, she throws, I fetch. She likes to play her piano, too. Her best friends are her dad, her flock mates and her mom. Poppy's favorite color is pink and when she grows up she wants to enter beauty pageants.
