I found PJ when I wandered into a pet store one day. I didn't have any pets at the time and was just looking around and killing some time. Anyway, I spotted PJ in a tank and he was having issues breathing. I alerted the store manager who said they would take care of him. The next day I went back to check on him and he was even sicker. Long story short, I made them send him to a vet clinic immediately and after three weeks of treatment for a horrible upper respiratory infection, he came home to live with me.
He is super sweet and very chatty. All you have to do is call his name and he "wheeks" back at you and starts popcorning. PJ will come when you call his name and does all kinds of tricks. He'll give you a high five, shake your hand, spin in a circle on command, jump through hoops, go to his bed on command, hide on command, crawl through his fleece sleeping bag, and "hold down the fort" which is when he puts his two front feed on his pigloo. I had a few Guinea pigs as a child and was a vet tech for many years. PJ is the very best little guy with a big personality.
