This sweet little girl was a breeder for most of her life, and many times a grandma. The pet store lady was actually hiding her from people so she would not get fed to anything as her breeding days were over. The lady called her gramamamama lol. I named her after my real grandma. She is a tad tubby, but this is likely due to improper diet and no exercise wheel before I had her.
She lives with five female friends, and is very nice tempered. She will let me pet her while in her cage, and gently pick her up anytime, she never runs. I have had her for four months but I think she is over a year old which is elderly for a mouse. Now she gets fed a proper diet of extrusion blocks and treats such as birdseed and peanuts. She has not lost any weight, but is doing fine. Though she now has a wheel at her disposal, she prefers to rest in her house and cuddle with her cagemates. I love her.
