Introducing Paddy, his official name is Oscars Rugged Run. Paddy is a very special horse, and has had quite a life so far!
He was born in Ireland to become an Irish racehorse. After a few years of racing his owners decided to no longer let him race, so at the age of five he quit racing and was sold on to someone in a different part of Ireland to be re-schooled as a event horse. At the age of seven, Paddy was sold on again. He was shipped across the waters to Halifax where he spent four years competing in Jumping, Dressage and Cross Country. The last owners sold him to me, as they wanted a horse with a bigger jump.
Paddy has been with me for just over a year and our bond is stronger than ever. We have managed to achieve so much, including bitless riding, tackless riding and even some tricks. Paddy loves attention and will do anything for a treat. He is my special boy.
