Burrow just turned one year old, he's a Chinese hamster so he is as big as he will get! He is super cute, I couldn't resist getting him when I first saw him. He is super sweet, and has never ever once bitten me.
Chinese hamsters like Burrow are prone to diabetes. You must keep them on a low sugar diet, or they can develop it, which I did not know for the first six months I had him. So now I have him on a strict diet. I've got a whole meal plan and portioned meals every day. He loves to be out and exploring, and will climb all over me! I love him, and hope he lives a long time.
