Sherman T Potter is a long-awaited member of the family. Turtles and tortoises have been illegal to have as pets in Tennessee for many years and recently in June they became legal.
Sherman gets a salad every day. We alternate fruit in every other day. Once a month he gets protein, chicken. Tortoises are awesome, they have great personalities and I've always envied people that have them but with the turtle ban in my state I didn't think we could ever have one. June 24 they became legal, and my wish has come true in the very cute form of Sherman!
