Earl is a one-of-a-kind horse who quite literally has saved my life. He is a quarter horse, and they are known for having strong characters, but Earl is more than an ordinary quarterhorse. Let me explain, one night a barn
fire started in the barn and as I was leading Earl out I was trapped by the flames. I told Earl to
go and get out, and he did, but minutes later came back to save me. So he is the only reason I am alive today! A barn fire is terrifying for horses, as their "safe haven" suddenly is deadly. But Earl overcame his fear to save me, and I will love him forever for that!
