Hi! My name is Bailey and I am a four-year-old, blonde, sheltie guinea pig. The home that I live in now is my third. I am very happy here sharing my cage with my life-long partner Patch. We both lived first in a very crowded cage where our owner bred guinea pigs. We were bought from there by a lady who wanted to keep us as pets but what she didn't realise was that I was pregnant. A few weeks later I had four babies and Patch was a proud father. We brought up the babies then they were found homes.
For a while we lived on there but our owner's circumstances changed. She no longer had the time to give us that she felt she should. We were put up for adoption and came here, two years ago.
There are two other guinea pigs living here but they each have their own cage whilst Patch and I are happy to share. The house has a large garden where our new owner takes us when the weather is good enough. It is here where all four of us can socialise and have fun together. On very hot days there is a paddling pool where we can go for a swim if we wish. It's a wonderful way to keep cool! The garden has an area where the grass is allowed to grow long and we have dandelions to nibble, along with clover and sour-thistle which isn't at as it sounds; it's delicious! I've enjoyed telling you about my life and I hope will like the pictures of me.
