Pochodnia has very individual character (every mare has got her own personality, right?). She is perfect horse who teaches young riders how to be a good equestrians. When you learn how to get on well with her, you will be able to work with all other horses. She is very clever and stubborn and when she is trotting without a rider she looks like an Arabian. I absolutely adore her.
I do all kinds of riding with Pochodnia - in summer and spring we do jumping, in winter. dressage, and also some natural gaits sometimes. We have a lot of fun, but also have little conflicts together. We both learn something new with each training session from each other. There are many difficult moments, but in the end, everything is all right. I love her!
Her breed, the Małopolski Horse is a very old breed, is a horse native to Poland, as her breed was developed in the 19th century in Lesser Poland, Polish Małopolska, which how they get their name. You can read more about their history online.
