This is my Chinese Silkie, Saffron. She was a Christmas gift to me from my friend Shelley after my other Silkie, Poof, died from issues with her craw. But Poof was old and slow - and Saffron most emphatically is not! She is very fast and very busy!
My red hen, Molly, is her BFF (Best Feathered Friend), and together they like to get into mischief, like mountain climbing on my (fake) fur throw! Augh! She also likes playing in the mud and getting as filthy as she can, which of course leads to bath time. Bath time makes Saffron grumpy. She got a wash this time with my fancy orange and olive oil soap. Now she's soft and snuggly and smells like fruit salad. And, as you can see, she is back to her fluffy princess self!
