Here is my agouti guinea pig, her name is Noodle. She loves climbing and hiding in people's hair. Noodle is quite new to our household and has just settled in with her new cage-mate Cashew. Cashew has tried to dominate Noodle, but Noodle remained very calm whilst Cashy was rumblestrutting and chattering, so I would say she is a very chilled piggy.
Although she is calm, Noodle has an extremely loud and quite raucous wheek however, and very quickly learned that "plastic bag rustling" sound equals "food" even when it is me taking the garbage out. She also wheeks with delight when her tummy is tickled, though she is also extremely wriggly so it's getting harder to do this now! We love her!
Noodle is our fourth guinea pig, she has been with us just under a month so we are still getting to know her. She joins Cashew who was a rescue piggie, and she's lived with us just over a year. Noodle is very calm and assured, but when she decides to move she is blindingly quick! She is very good at hiding, and seems to like climbing into things. In the photos you can see her "hiding" in my younger daughter's hair. She also climbed into the hood of my eldest daughter's sweatshirt as she thought it was a snuggle bag, presumably! We're not quite sure what her favourite veg is yet, but she does like hay. Usually she runs straight into the middle of the pile and eats her way out, which seems to annoy Cashew :-) Though she looks a bit plain from a distance, her fur is extremely glossy and smooth up close, and quite beautifully coloured (Agouti pigs have several colours in each hair shaft). She has large eyes too, which makes her a most beautiful creature which we are delighted to share a home with.
