Our Dutch Lop Archie was a single rabbit and at aged one, he was looking a bit lonely. So Dora was adopted as a re-home, and she was similarly aged. All the bonding advice was followed but Archie and Dora just weren't getting along. They (and we) stuck at it and after nine months, they just clicked and have been inseparable ever since. So never give up - it is possible to out-stubborn a bunny!
Funny enough, even though they are not biological siblings, the standard roles still fit. Archie is a typical first child, weighing everything up with a cautious nature. Dora, as the second child, is very adventurous and will go anywhere, trying anything. The two of them balance each other out. They eat together, groom each other, and are just great bunnies. And they even have their own joint Twitter account.
