Hi, this is Peruche, my budgie. His name, Peruche, is French for budgie. He loves singing but his voice is very loud so everyone in the house can hear him when he starts to sing. Sometimes he starts at five o´clock in the morning. His best friend is Coco, my other budgie. They sometimes argue but only sometimes. If they argue Peruche bites and kicks Coco and Coco just screams, so the fight is noisy but does not last very long, and no actual damage is done. Peruche can eat headfirst, so he's almost hanging upside down. His favorite food are apples, grains, daisies and millet.
Peruche likes to nibble at things. This includes things he is not supposed to, for example wallpaper, plants and my books. Sometimes I give him some plants to eat (daisies, Shepherd's purse, red and white clover...) then he gets silly. He loves to play with a piece of string. He can go to perch on my hand and sings to music. He`s more independent and chooses if he wants to be touched or not. But I love him!
