Gingersnap is a photogenic Guinea pig. Whenever I take out a camera she stops and poses. She lets me move her however I want, and stays still for as long as I need. She acts like the little model she is. Ginger is one of my two Guinea pigs.
When I first got them (Cinnabon and Gingersnap), they both had short hair, and were sold as American Guinea pigs. As she got older, her hair grew longer. It parts down the middle, but does not grow over her eyes. Other breeds of long haired Guinea pigs do have hair that grows over their eyes, so that's how I know she's a Silky. Even though she is full grown she still acts just like a baby Guinea pig. She's still very timid when it comes to strangers, and runs away from everyone except me. She is still as curious about the world anyway, which is good. I love her.
