Bella was bought for my class, he was put in a small tank with almost no water. After the school almost starving him, my grandparents (who bought him) took him back from the class, putting him in a water tank and feeding him correctly. After three years of cleaning and taking care of him while I was away, my grandma wanted to give Bella to a zoo. The zoo-keeper said that he could not take him, but instead to put him into their koi fish pond during the summer months.
Doing as he said, my grandma put him in the koi pond. After a week of being scared of the fish, he adjusted and he thrived. Every day my grandpa hand feeds Bella live meal worms. Even after two years he is still thriving with the fish and frogs. We all love him!
